LetsPLayOutside workshop | Creative alternative on visual art

Posted on March 21, 2015 by Mpumelelo Mfula

We always mentioned that one of our main goals as the RHTC clan was to eventually build schools at our hoods, however that part would be cut out of the final edit of most TV interviews we did, maybe because they could not comprehend how a bunch of kids would even think of building schools for their peers. The RHTC clan and friends of RHTC took it upon themselves not to wait until we could afford to buy lots of bricks to build a school but to take the school to the streets through a series of LetsPlayOutside Workshops.

The aim of the workshops is to introduce high school students and Tertiary school freshmen to a culture of finding a creative alternative to traditional career paths and thus opening them up to the culture of entrepreneurship and self sustainabiliy. We kick off the workshop series by focusing on exploring the creative alternative to visual arts with two of the most dynamic young visual artist in Joburg, Success Maake and Lazi Greiispaces

To attend this workshop please RSVP with your age, grade/year of study and short description of your hustle or passion. The Workshop will be hosted at 73 Juta Street (same building as Neighbourgoods market) 4th floor. between 11am and 13:00 on the 28th of March 2015.
