Coming home from playing in the streets for hours and only realising how hungry and dirty you actually are when the streets lights come on and everybody knows what that signals, then as soon as you open the door you are greeted by the pleasant aroma of Rooibos tea boiling in a kettle on your grand mother's coal stove. At that point warmth just fills your heart as you sit on your small carpet laid on the floor and expecting a jam sandwich that is accompanied by a aluminium cup of tea as you tune into Days Of Our Lives if you missed an episode of YoTV.
We all have similar childhood stories that feature a cup of tea on these classic aluminium cups. Share yours and tag us on any social network and use the hashtag #LetsPlayOutside
